CRS Racing Partner With Baileigh Industrial
CRS Racing is a British motor racing team, founded in late 2007 by Chris Niarchos and Andrew Kirkaldy. The team hit the headlines almost immediately when one of its Ferraris won the first British GT race of the 2008 season and went on to take the teams’ title. Championship victory in Formula Renault and race victories in the FIA GT Championship completed a very successful first year for the new team.
The CRS Ferraris competed in the FIA GT Championship in 2009, and this season the team is competing in the ultra-competitive Le Mans Series with two Ferrari 430s. The Le Mans Series (LMS) is made up of five endurance races, between six and eight hours in length. Each one is a true test of man and machinery and in 2010 the GT2 class in particular is tougher than ever before. The series offers one of the best prizes in motorsport: automatic selection for the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hours for the top two in each class. To complete the 2010 GT program, CRS is also running two Ferrari 430s in the International GT Open series.
2010 will see the team running in the FIA GT series, the Formula Renault Championship as well as the exciting all-new GP3 Series, the series is set to be one of the most competitive single-seater championships outside of Formula One. CRS has formed a partnership with ATECH Grand Prix for the GP3 undertaking and is known as ATECH CRS.
CRS racing have invested heavily in new Baileigh Industrial Machinery for the 2010 season to help them keep their competitive edge and all their fabrication work in house and to ensure they continue to succeed on the race track – having the right machines and good preparation is the key to success!
