Baileigh Industrial Goes Pickup Truck Racing!
Baileigh Industrial has joined forces with SHP engineering for 2009 and gone American style Pickup Truck Racing. SHP are the renowned Engineering company behind the successful and fun Pick Up Truck racing series. SHP created and manufacture, as well as many other things, the tubular space frame trucks at their factory in Cambridgeshire and will now be using Baileigh Industrial machines to help them meet their very high standards.
Up to 25 trucks race together door handle to door handle, the racing is breath-taking and great fun to watch, they certainly live up to the American saying; “rubbin is racing”!! The racing will never be boring while the tarmac warriors are given the opportunity to perform their skills, racing inches apart lap after lap, swapping positions in a game of cat and mouse at 150mph where the winner takes all.

Motors TV Programme Listings for Brands Hatch Event
Brands Hatch on 17 & 18 April is the first of five rounds this season to be televised on Motors TV, which as well as showing footage from the 2010 season, is also hosting a mini site dedicated to Pickup Truck Racing on motorstv.com covering race reports and photos from each round. Motors TV can be found on Sky Channel 417 and Virgin Channel 545.
