Horizontal Mitering Band Saw - BS-24SA

The BS-24SA horizontal band saw has a massive 18" x 21" capacity and utilizes a huge 1-1/2" blade, meaning you will get extremely straight cuts. This band saw is a semi-automatic model which has a powerful hydraulic vise, down feed, and bow return. When initiating a cut the vise will close, the machine will start-up and proceed with the cut. When the cut is complete the blade will shut down, the cutting head will return to the start position and the vise will open up, ready for the next cycle to proceed.
The well built cutting head has a blade tensioning devise that monitors the tension on the bow and allows the operator to adjust the blade to the proper tension. This really increases the life of the saw blade and the drive bearings in the bow. The heavy cast blade arms use bearings and adjustable Tungsten carbide inserts to keep the blade straight throughout the cutting process.
This horizontal band saw comes with a strong roller infeed table with side roller and a strong out feed table. The powerful coolant system has three distribution points to cool and lubricate the blade and wash away chips. The brass chip removal wheel is motorized for optimum performance.
