Drill Press - DP-1000G
The Baileigh DP-1000G, a great value for money, is gear head pillar drill press that works great in any engineer’s shop. It requires 220 volts, single phase, 50Hz power so it can run in any fabricator’s works. It can drill through mild steel with up to a 25mm (1”) drill bit. This drill press has a heavy cast iron base and adjustable table as standard features.
To minimise flex during drilling processes this gear head drill press uses a 102mm (4”) diameter pillar. The drill head also can be adjusted up or down on the pillar. The multiple speeds provided by the transmission are brilliant for drilling and tapping an assortment of different materials. The halogen light and protective guard are standard on the DP-1000G drill press.

Drill Press - DP-1000vs
The DP-1000VS variable speed pillar drill press has a very large diameter column to eliminate flexing when drilling at top capacity. Both base and table are made from a super rigid casting adding to the strength of this 25mm drilling machine.
An inverter drive within the drill head allows any engineer or fabricator to run tooling at the proper speed for selective drill or tap size available. Running at the exact speed extends tooling life, something that can’t be accomplished on pulley driven style pillar drills. The DP-1000VS drill press comes standard with a coolant system, guarding and a work lamp.
DP-1250VS Heavy Duty Drill Press
The DP-1250VS pillar drill press is a heavy duty drilling machine offered by Baileigh Industrial Limited. As with all of our drill presses this machine comes with and extra wide column for extra support providing for reduced flexing during substantial drilling processes at maximum capacity which is 32mm diameter in mild steel. On the DP-1250VS pillar drill a speed potentiometer dial controls the powerful inverter driven motor which is matched up with a digital readout giving you an accurate reading of the actual RPM’s of the quill.
The heavy duty #4 Morse Taper used by this variable speed drilling machine allows for the effective and efficient transfer of power from the spindle to the quill. The work table and base of this pillar drill are made from a high quality and heavy duty casting which have ample T-slots allowing you to adequately and accurately secure you tools and work pieces. A powerful coolant system delivers ample amounts of coolant during drilling processes extending drill bit and tapping tool life. All operations occur behind an industrial safety splash guard.
