Model 300 Tube Bender.

Model 300 pipe benders are available in two different models, the model 300-S and model 300-P. The 300-P is outfitted with the Operator Control System (OCS). Both models of this tube bender come standard with a foot control for forward and backward movement control the pipe benders spindle.

The model 300 is a very powerful extremely accurate electric tube bender machine. All of our models can be used as a tube bender or will fall in the category of pipe benders.

It has the capacity to handle up to 2 inch schedule 40 pipe or 2.25 inch .15625 wall tubing.

The model 300 tube bender is built of rugged steel for years of productivity. It can be used quickly after minimal training.

The spindle is designed so you can adapt or custom make your own tooling.

The model 300 tube bender is the perfect model for custom fabrication or production shops.

The model 300 has a dial degree feature and a variable speed control. This allows you to repeatedly produce bends from 0 to 200 degrees.

Counter die positions is also adjustable and the position counted allows for the easy return of the counter die to the same position every time for repeatability.

Pipe Benders - Bending Variables Description.

The model 300 tube bender machine tool is very easy to easy with only 5 variables to control. Forward, Reverse, Counter die position, degrees of bend, and speed at which you bend. The degrees of bend, spring-back, and speed of bend can all be controlled by this model pipe benders optional OCS (operator control station) programming unit.

Tube Bender OCS (operator control station) Description

The OCS can store multiple programs. Each program can store 10 steps and each program can be given an alphanumeric name. The Model 300 tube bender with OCS was designed to be easily understood for ease of operation allowing this machine tool to start paying for itself quickly.

Model 300 Tube Bender Die Set Description

The dies and counter dies require no tooling to accomplish changeover. Changeover of tooling requires simply dropping the bend die onto the spindle. The bend die only fits on the tube bender spindle one way. Then insert the pin through the counter die.

Our Pipe Benders Bending Process Description

Once you have your pipe benders set up situated, insert the material into the pipe benders bend die. Then you need to lubricate the counter die. Tighten the counter appropriately. Choose your degrees of bend for your angle you are about to bend on your Model 300 pipe benders. Next initiate the bending process on the tube bender by activating the forward switch on the bender. Hold the forward switch until the tube bender stops at the pre-designated degrees. Once you have completed the bend reverse the bend die to release pressure. Open the counter die and remove tubing. After removing the tubing from the pipe benders bend die return die to home position. Simply dial in the desired angle and set the bend and a 180 bend can be accomplished in 11 seconds. Spring-back in the material can be accounted for by simply adding the amount of spring-back degrees to the overall bend degrees on the RDB-300-S.

Tube Bender and Pipe Benders Optional Features.

An index table is available for all electric model pipe benders. This table gives you the ability to accurately position distances between bends using the adjustable stops the can be positioned along a linear scale. You can add an unlimited number of stops to this index table giving incredible versatility. The index table also allows you to position your material in varying planes using a rugged and sturdy 8 inch chuck. This chuck accepts material up to 2.5 inches in diameter.
