Model 350 Tube Bender.

Model 350 pipe benders are outfitted with a Operator Control System (OCS). Forward and backward movement of the spindle is controlled on this tube bender with a foot control.

The model 350 is a very powerful and extremely accurate electric tube bending machine tool. All of our models can be used as a tube bender or will fall in the category of pipe benders.

It has the capacity to handle up to 2.5 inch schedule 40 pipe or 3 inch .1875 wall tubing.

The model 350 tube bender is built of rugged steel for years of productivity. After minimal training you will be able to use this machine tool with ease.

With the non-proprietary spindle you can adapt or custom make your own tooling.

Model 350 pipe benders can be run in program mode or manual bend mode. This allows you to repeatedly produce bends from 0 to 200 degrees.

Pipe Benders - Bending Variables Description.

The model 350 tube bender is very easy to easy with only 5 variables to control. Forward, Reverse, Counter die position, degrees of bend, and speed at which you bend. The degrees of bend, spring-back, and speed of bend can all be controlled by this model pipe benders optional OCS (operator control station) programming unit.

Tube Bender OCS (operator control station) Description

The OCS can store multiple programs. Each program can store 10 steps and each program can be given an alphanumeric name. The Model 350 tube bender with OCS was designed to be easily understood for ease of operation. A touch screen operator control systems is also available.

Model 350 Tube Bender Die Set Description

No tools are required to change over dies and counter dies. Simply drop the bend die onto the spindle in order to changeover tooling. The bend die only fits on the tube bender spindle one way. Simply insert the pin through the counter die.

Pipe Benders Bending Process Description

Once you have your pipe benders set up situated, insert the material into the pipe benders bend die. The next step is to lubricate the counter die. Tighten the counter appropriately. Either call up a program or enter manual bend mode on the tube bender. Next initiate the bending process on the tube bender by stepping on the forward pedal that comes standard with the tube bender. Hold the forward pedal until the tube bender stops at the pre-designated degrees or you reach your desired degree of bend. Once you have completed the bend reverse the bend die to release pressure. Use the quick relesae to open the counter die and remove the material. After removing the material from the pipe benders bend die return the die to home position. The desired angle can be achieved quickly, a 180 bend can be accomplished in 11 seconds. Spring-back in the material can be accounted for by simply adding the amount of spring-back degrees to the overall bend degrees whne doing a manual bend or it can be programmed into each step on the RDB-350-S.

Optional Features for Tube Bender and Pipe Benders .

On all electric model pipe benders ou can attach an optional index table. This table gives you the ability to accurately position distances between bends using the adjustable stops the can be positioned along a linear scale. You can add an unlimited number of stops to this index table giving incredible versatility. The index table also allows you to position your material in varying planes using a rugged and sturdy 8 inch chuck. Material up to 2.5 inches in diameter can be accepted by the versatile chuck.
