Metal Cutting Shear with Programmable Back Gauge
The SH-12003-HD is a heavy-duty hydraulic shear that is built for years of heavy cutting production requirements. The machine can cut 10’ wide sheet metal with a thickness up to ¼” thick (Mild Steel T.S. 64,000 PSI). This well built sheet metal shearing machine comes standard with an upper blade carriage that rides in a 3 axis bearing housing that runs on a heavy duty precision ground and hardened rail system for unbeatable accuracy and longevity of blade life. A rigidly constructed framework uses plate steel that is accurately electro welded in place for further stability.
The SH-12003-HD metal cutting shear includes front and rear product supports, a roller infeed table, and side guides to easily maneuver the plate steel for the next cut. There is a programmable quick change back gauge positioner that rides on a screw ball rail system for rigidity and has a positioning encoder for accuracy. Thirteen powerful hydraulic hold downs ensure the sheet of metal doesn’t life while being sheared to the required length. An accurate shadow light stretches the entire length of the web width for proper placement of the beginning of the cut, for those one off shearing requirements.
This heavy-duty hydraulic shear comes standard with a simple to operate control panel including the rake adjustment, jog/run/stop controls, program pad for the back gauge, production counter, and much more. This metal cutting shears blade gap can be altered by a simple handle adjustment in seconds when changing material thicknesses.
Our SH-12003-HD metal cutting shear uses high carbon chromium blades that have several edges, so as the blades where they can be flipped several times before re-sharpening is required, this drastically improves blade life. A simple remote operator control pendant house an E-Stop button and foot pedal controls. This machine uses industrial grade hydraulic and electrical components to last during years of heavy production.
